He recently co-hosted the show American Idol Extra (website) which aired on the Fox Reality Channel.

Although he achieved renown through the television show American Idol (Season 4, 2005), Constantine had a substantial career prior to entering that “competition.” Here are some career highlights:

He played Judas and later Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar at NJ Theater in 2000.
He also sang in the cast recording of Suburban Dreams, a rock musical, in 1999. “He was a bit young to play the part on stage,” said Jesse Merz, the show’s producer. “However, we liked him so much that we put him on the CD.” The cast recording of Suburban Dreams is no longer available.
In September 2006, Constantine joined the cast of The Wedding Singer on Broadway, portraying Sammy, best friend and bandmate of the main character, Robbie Hart.

Music:
He has been the lead singer in two rock bands, “Lady Rain” (website) and most recently “Pray for the Soul of Betty” (website). The self titled Pray for the Soul of Betty CD has been available since 2004 and was re-distributed by Koch Records in April 2005.

Constantine toured with the other American Idol finalists during the summer of 2005, and performed in a series of solo shows in the Philippines and the US during the fall and winter. He completed a US tour with Pray for the Soul of Betty during the winter of 2006. August 2006 saw a solo tour of the Northeast US, followed by shows at LA's Viper Room in September.

He released his solo album, Constantine, on his own Sixth Place Records label in 2007. Some of this material can be heard on Constantine's official Myspace.

His recording of “My Funny Valentine” is available on the compilation CD American Idol Season 4 - The Showstoppers (RCA).

After performing “Bohemian Rhapsody” live on American Idol, Constantine was asked by Brian May to record the song on the album Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen. The CD was released August 9, 2005 by Hollywood Records.
